We are Zuidoost’ers – enthusiasts from the South-East of Amsterdam believing in a strong & united community.
We work & volunteer in Amsterdam South-East communities for the interest of these communities and their community-members.
We help (small) local organizations to get assistance and recognition of (amazing) efforts they do for the community-members in South-East of Amsterdam.
We link (small) organizations with each other and help them realizing projects they wouldn’t be able to execute alone. We believe team-work is a way to succeed in building strong & united community.
We are here to let you know that you are not alone when you do socially impactful projects as social responsibility deserves a public recognition!
Together we make a change… towards diverse, but still united and strong community in South-East of Amsterdam!
WAYS TO SUPPORT
There are unlimited ways to express support and offer a help: from giving a hand during the events we or our partners organize to becoming our Foundation’s Angel and get recognition during our or partners’ events.
Whatever support individuals, organizations or institution provide, they show a commitment to social responsibility and that they care about the community & its future.

Little Eyes Shaping the Future
This project aims to encourage children to create art – drawings, crafts, figures, or anything else they choose to make by their hands – to capture the essence of children’s perspectives in how they see their neighbourhood “of the future” and emphasize their active role in envisioning and influencing long-term decisions related to their neighbourhood.
Our ‘trial’ project starts in Amsterdam South-East, an area where the diversity among the population including children is well presented. And by running this project we aim to bring not only children but their families, friends, neighbours into one (community) place where we all share the same interests.
This is just one example how we aim to build stronger & more united community.

Amsterdam Innovation Day, 13 June 2025
What an exciting day we all had on 13 June in Marineterrein Amsterdam! Applause and Thanks to the organizers and in particular to AMS Institute, Gemeente Amsterdam, Innofest and Marineterrein Amsterdam.
It was, indeed, a hot day weather-wise! The atmosphere got even hotter with a panel discussion on the future of startup ecosystems, five parallel tracks covering everything from scaling and investment to responsible innovation and deep tech. A matchmaking lunch to connect with fellow founders and over 30 investors, corporates, and startup supporting programs helped us to cool down a bit.
In the afternoon, more than 100 booths presenting start-ups, scale-ups and innovation partners showcased what the future of cities can look like. And with hundreds of visitors mingling around the event became an absolutely ‘burning’ success! ZUIDOOST Amsterdam was presented by a number of members, including individuals, organizations, companies, start-ups and NGOs.
Zuidoost has a great potential to grow: innovation-wise and with particular focus on sustainability and circular economy.
